What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a natural state of mind every one of us enters at least once, but usually several times a day, every day.
It is a shift in attention in which a person is more susceptible to suggestions.
Falling asleep
The process of falling asleep usually takes about 30 minutes. During those 30 minutes we are in somewhat of a ‘twilight’. We are already entering our subconscious mind. We are not focusing quiet as much on what's going on around us and we draw our focus more ‘inwardly’.
- This is a very powerful natural state of Hypnosis!
Working on autopilot
Have you ever driven down a road you have driven so many times that you find yourself at the destination and don’t even remember how you got there? Have you ever done a task at work or at home and didn’t even remember doing it?
- That is also a state of Hypnosis.
Watching a movie or reading a book
Have you been so engulfed in a story from a book or a movie at the movie theater where you feel like you are part of the story or movie? You guessed it
